They have also won awards from The Best American Comics and American Illustration for their graphic novel work as Coin-Op Studio. Peter and Maria, have been publishing their own comic books since 2008, perfecting their skills in storytelling and concept-driven narratives. They just released their latest issue: “Coin-Op #5: Plastic Faces,” a magnificent 36-page collection of seven stories that reflect their interests in film and music. This past weekend, P+M had their first opportunity to showcase their latest masterpiece at MOCCA, and as you can imagine, it was a huge success! We’ve devoted a unique portfolio to their comic work–please take a look here.
Peter and Maria are involved in each phase of the process from initial sketches to final printing decisions.
