Jean Francois Podevin created an illustration for Cerebrum about the University of Chicago’s two research programs in cognitive science, which are trying to find the location of Consciousness in the brain. Each program believes to have the answer: one claims that it is located in the back of the brain while the other claims that it resides in the frontal lobe.
