Illustrated by Elizabeth Traynor, F is for First State: A Delaware Alphabet (Sleeping Bear Press) was selected by the Library of Congress as the 2026 Youth Book of the Year for the state of Delaware. On August 22, Elizabeth was the featured illustrator for Delaware at the National Book Festival in Washington DC, signing her book and greeting hundreds of visitors. She has since done a number of book signings at book stores throughout Delaware celebrating the award.
