Islenia Mil participated in an art installation in NYC’s Washington Square Park celebrating the 50th anniversary of Habitat for Humanity. Habitat’s “Open The Door” installations are popping up in 10 cities worldwide featuring work from local artists alongside real homeowner stories. Islenia is the artist representing New York, their first stop on the tour, with an illustration representing the meaning of home.
