John S. Dykes created an illustrated map for the Smithsonian’s Commemorative Guide to Washington D.C. celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States. Designed as the centerpiece of the publication, the map references many of the museums, collections, discoveries, artifacts, and stories that make up the Smithsonian experience.
