Kathleen Fu illustrated the Kingdom of Hyrule for the Sunday New York Times cover story, “The Legacy of Zelda”. The story describes how the Legend of Zelda franchise evolved from a pixelated game in 1986 to what is now an elaborate world of mythology and exploration, and became “the standard unit of measurement in the gaming industry.”
