Anna Godeassi worked with Medici Con L’Africa Cuamm, an Italian NGO focused on improving the state of healthcare in Africa, to illustrate the picture book “When I Grow Up”. The book tells stories of African children growing up to pursue their dreams – a possibility that the organization hopes to increase by supporting healthcare for mothers and children. The children’s dreams are conceptually depicted through interactions with different animals in their home environments.
