Robert Neubecker started his career in Manhattan with the New York Times. In the years since, he’s drawn for nearly every magazine in print and done ad campaigns for Mellon Bank, Charles Schwab, Fair Health, Amgen, The New York Department of Sanitation, and many others. Robert was a staff contributor to Slate .com for 19 years and is a specialist on tight deadline assignments. Robert’s poster for the movie Sideways won the prestigious Key Award for Best Comedy Poster, and he’s won countless awards from the Illustration Annuals over the years.
Robert has authored or illustrated over 35 books for children garnering many starred reviews & awards, including an ALA Notable Book Award for “Wow City,” his love letter to NYC. Robert now lives in Salt Lake City in a storybook cottage next to the Wasatch Mountains.
