Chiara Vercesi is an Italian illustrator currently based in Amsterdam whose career in the design world started more than a decade ago. She worked as a designer and art director for four years in a digital agency. Before that, she worked as an illustrator and concept artist for different board game companies before finally focusing on her true passion building her career as a freelance illustrator.
Chiara is recognized for her vibrant style rich in textures and atmospheric brush strokes. Her illustrations have been published by numerous magazines and newspapers such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, Scientific American, The New Republic, to name a few. In addition, her extensive and diverse client list includes advertising agencies and institutions across the globe. In 2018 she co-founded Sail Ho Studio collective.
